ABOUT KUSA

The Korean Undergraduate Student Association (KUSA) was established in 1985 with one goal in mind. Our founders wanted to provide a safe, welcoming space for students of any background with an interest in Korean culture to come together. This serves as our purpose at the University of Florida. We hope to promote Korean culture and visibility on campus as well as in the greater society. Our organization also serves as a resource to educate, share and celebrate the culture and history of Koreans and Korean Americans. One of the many ways we do this is through our semesterly cultural shows. Through our modern and traditional performances, we aim to bring people together to celebrate famous Korean holidays with food, dance and fun. In an effort to give back to our community, KUSA holds fundraisers for our philanthropy, Liberty in North Korea, and various service events throughout the school year. Our goal this year, like every year, is to make KUSA a fun and inviting experience for everyone involved. We strive to make our events a place where students can come together, feel welcomed and meet people with similar interests. As always, all are welcomed in the Korean Undergraduate Student Association.
